bloombuilding

Bloom is a progressive and unique concept that’s rewriting the rules around how the worlds of culture, community, social action and mental health can flourish together.

Reimagining not only common approaches to mental health, but also how culture can act as the catalyst for change and cultivate social value.

Bloom is a great space to hold all types of creative events from private parties, baby showers, music gigs, art exhibitions, yoga and wellness retreats and much more. Bloom has previously opened its doors to festivals, electronic nights, film screenings, book launch’s and immersive exhibitions.

We are no longer operating as a walk-in cafe/bar as our programming continues to develop. We always strive to deliver a diverse experimental and constantly changing list of cultural events in the community for the surrounding areas.

We hold a range of monthly events at Bloom such as Open Mic night, Life Drawing, Open Mic poetry night and a weekly choir.

We also hold coffee mornings with Mencap and Positivitree weekly.

Get in contact with our team to find out more information about our room hire charges for private bookings, community projects and availability either on our ‘contact us’ form or via info@bloombuilding.co.uk

bazaar at bloom

Bazaar is a free, mentor led therapeutic support programme available for anyone aged 17-35 who is feeling low, stressed, anxious, or generally not themselves. It takes place in the Bloom Building in Birkenhead where a trained team of peer mentors support members on a 1 to 1 basis, guiding them through structured sessions over 8 weeks.

Bazaar can help people to understand their thoughts and how these can impact their actions and emotional wellbeing. Bazaar has been shown to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression by equipping people with techniques and tools they can use now and in the future, giving them more control over their wellbeing.
